HTD872A is a cost-effective stepper motor driver developed by our company on the basis of applying for national patent technology. It is suitable for low-noise, high-torque, and high-speed occasions. Compared with similar products, it has a very high cost performance. Thanks to the tri-state control technology, stepper motor noise and heat generation are significantly improved compared to most low-cost drivers on the market. This driver adopts fan heat dissipation, which reduces the heating of the driver body and prolongs the service life.
At the same time, the driving voltage is increased to 220VAC, so that the motor speed can reach higher. The drive has up to sixteen subdivision options in binary and quinary. At the same time, the driver has the function of pulse+direction and double-pulse selection. The user only needs to change the jumper inside the driver to change the pulse+direction mode from the factory setting to the double-pulse mode. The eight-bit DIP switch (SW1-SW8) on the driver can be used to set the dynamic current (three-digit eight-speed), static current (SW4) and subdivision selection (SW5-SW8). SW4 can select full current or half current when stopped. If half current is selected, the motor current will be reduced to 60% of the set value after the pulse stops for about 0.2 seconds, and the heat generation will be reduced to less than half of the full current (I2R). The HTD872A driver is by far the most competitive product in terms of noise and speed, torque characteristics and price!
